The Sept's totem spirit is The North Star, which has been a guiding influence on the sailors of Iceland and the Vikings that brought the first Garou to the island long ago.
The North Star is very strong in Iceland because the lack of artificial light in most places means that the stars are always visible at night. Sept members of the Sept of Light on Ice gain Area Knowledge x2 and Survival x2 as if they were in a pack that served it. To receive this bonus, they must gain acceptance from the totem itself, usually through the aid of the Rite Master. All Garou accepted this way have some connection to each other, a bit like a pack link. Urgent messages may be sent through it, and occasionally the totem itself puts out calls to all its loyal Garou.
The North Star manifests in the Umbra at all times in Iceland, guiding Garou back to their Caern or any other location they may be trying to find. It is sometimes even visible in the material world (A big bigger and brighter than the real North Star) to those Garou in times of desperate need.
