Iceland is a wild-space paradise, and remains despite the influence of humans. But, it has also been irrevocably changed by the vikings that first landed, the most visible change being to the trees. Or well, the eradication of trees through slash and burn foresting and the introduction of livestock like sheep. The humans of modern Iceland are trying to correct the problem, but find once a place has been turned into a desert, as much of Iceland's taiga now is, it is not so easy to turn back. This definitely has ramifications in the spirit world. It is not exactly Wyrm, and not exactly Weaver, as it took place slowly, and is now part of the way the ecosystem has developed here. In many ways, it was a natural adaptation to a new species arriving on the island. Many Garou see it that way. Some do see the corruption of the Wyrm in the destruction of the trees. Its a point of contention among the island's werewolves. Still, it is a concern for some of the mortals who live here ... and may be one for the spirits (however adjusted the may now be), too. There are massive government projects working on reforestation and controlling some of the damage their ancestors may have done to the land.
